Trek to Gadasaru Mahadev Lake

Gadasaru Mahadev Lake is a 4050 meter high altitude lake located near Alipatan Pass in the Pir-Panjal mountain range of the Himalayas in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The lake is heart shaped and is small in circumference.

Every year many devotees from Churah Valley and other parts of Chamba visit this lake to take the holy dip on the occasion of Janamashtami and Radha ashtami. There are two ways to reach Gadasaru Mahadev lake, one is via Devikothi village which is easier than the other one that starts from Bhanjraru, the headquarter of Churah Valley. The trek from Bhanjraru is very long and tough. The length of this trek is not known as I do not measured the same but you need 3-4 days to complete this trek depending upon your speed.

In the video below full trek starting from Devikothi to Gadasaru Lake and further trek to Bhanjraru is shown. And I’ve tried to give all the necessary information you need to know before going on this trek. But it’s an old video from the year when I just started making vlogs so if I missed any information that you need to know, you can ask in comments.
