Sojotha Dhar is a mountain ridge between Dhulara and Lyhl valley of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. It is about 2 km hike from last road end of Chamba – Dhulara road and it is about 23 kms from I.S.B.T. Chamba.
There are 4-5 temporary huts of locals at Sojotha Dhar ridge. They live here in summer season for grazing their livestock.
Sojotha dhar looks at it’s best in monsoon and winter season. Do visit in monsoons for green and mystic views around or in winter if you want loads of snow.
Sojotha dhar is one of the easiest trek that you can do in Chamba Himachal Pradesh. In winters it receive around 3-6 feet of snowfall. So in winters it may get risky in some points because of steepness of the trail but it’s just 2kms from Dhulara so go slow and start early and you’ll reach there easily and if going in snow make sure the day is clear and you’ll be fine.
In the video below you can see our day hike to Sojotha Dhar in around 3 feet of snow. ⛄️ ❄️
I’ve also shared route map in the video so I hope it’ll be helpful for you. 🙏
