Diganpaal Temple is located at an altitude of 2420m over a mountain top named as Dhar Kanda in Rajindu panchayat of the Saal valley of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to a local deity called as Diganpaal or Diggu Baba.
The trek starts just a kilometre away from Saho bus stand and it is a low altitude trek as compared to other treks which makes it best to trek in winters or in full snowfall in Saal valley.
The 80% part of this trek is through villages and last 20% is through a small forest. But whole trek is very steep although any fit person can do it in 2-3 hours of time. So it’s upto you whether you want camp there or you can do a day hike in winters.
In this video I’ve shown full details about how reach and all but if you still have any queries please feel free to ask in comments.๐
