Banagei Mata Temple is located at an altitude of 2380 meters on a mountain top near Dhulara village in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Dhulara village is about 22 kms from Chamba town and you can get a direct bus to Dhulara from I.S.B.T. Chamba. Banagayi Mata Temple is a 2 hrs hike away from Dhulara village. So you can easily do this hike in a day from Chamba to Chamba. But you can also camp for a night if you want to. There’s a ground near temple for camping where you’ll get water supply and also it is a safe area from wild animals.
